About Us

Alissa Anderson, DVM, and her husband Blake started serving pet owners of upstate South Carolina with their mobile veterinary end-of-life care practice, Faithful Hearts Mobile Veterinary Services, in April 2020. It is an honor to be able to help families and their beloved pets at a delicate and emotionally difficult time.

They are excited to be able to expand into offering even more comprehensive end-of-life services now, including aftercare through aquamation. This energy-conserving process replaces more traditional cremation via fire with water and alkaline salts.

Ben

Business Manager/Operator

Ben grew up in south central Texas. He has extensive previous retail management experience. Having grown up with a future veterinarian in an animal-filled home, Ben understands every pet is an irreplaceable family member to be treated with love at every step.

Melissa

Office Manager

Many of you have spoken with Melissa as she has helped at Faithful Hearts full time since 2022! We are so blessed to have her. Melissa has completed training in communicating with families about pet loss. She has her own pets and she understands the incredibly important role they play in our lives.
